A new season calls for a makeup bag re-shuffle and Spring is definitely one of my favourite seasons that calls for a fresh, peachy, dewy product switch-a-roo. It’s time to put away the full coverage foundations and bring out the BB creams and I am absolutely loving a more natural skin finish with a peachy pink eye and a glossy lip at the moment!

I am constantly striving for that fresh natural look with a focus on cream product because I believe cream just looks so much more natural on the skin and looks much less detectable than powder. Basically the ‘no makeup’ makeup look is what I’m all about right now (can you imagine how excited I am to visit Glossier in LA in January!?)

So here are my current faves that I am reaching for to create a subtle, glowwy, light coverage, every day look for Spring!

Bobbi Brown illuminating Moisture Balm in Golden Glow

Prepping the skin is EVERYTHING if you want your base to look fresh, glowwy and natural. I’ve been grabbing for this beauty on days where I want a good mix of hydration and glow. It’s basically a moisturiser, primer and face illuminator all in one gorgeous skincare product to add hydration, glow & to ensure your makeup is going to last all day, they come in three shades but my favourite is Golden Glow!

Shiseido Tinted Gel Cream SPF 30 shade Medium

Shiseido bases are SO under hyped, this one in particular is the ultimate “I’m wearing makeup but you can’t really tell” look. It evens the skin out with a small amount of coverage (I just add coverage with concealer where I need it) and makes your skin look so healthy and gorgeous! It also has SPF 30 in it which is amazing, this is all I wore on a day out on the boat last weekend in the sunshine and my face was completely protected. It’s FAB, if you’re tried the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue (one of my all time faves) you will love this cause it’s super similar!

Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer in shade Custard

My ride or die, I’ve hit the bottom of the pot so I better head into Mecca soon and grab a back up! I’ve been using this concealer exclusively for a year and nothing else I’ve tried from other brands as been as good. I’ve noticed that most people agree it’s not ‘matte’ like the name suggests, it’s more of a natural finish that never looks cakey but lasts all day. I will be SHOCKED when I find another spot concealer that I love more than this one!

Pixi Beauty Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach

Under the eyes I usually I go for YSL Touche Éclat but I recently got this Pixi Peach Correcting Concealer which I’m enjoying using under the eyes to counteract my dark circles! It’s a really light formula, doesn’t crease and is nice to use as an alternative to the YSL when you want less layers of product on your face. Under the eye as touch éclat can be a bit heavy if you’re just going for a no makeup, makeup look so this Pixi one is FAB.

Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate

The ultimate cream contour and highlight duo. She’s pricy but she’s worth every penny! Buffing the contour shade lightly onto my cheek bone and pressing a small amount of the highlighter on top of the cheek creates the MOST natural contour and highlight everrrrr. It’s honestly beautiful and the pans are so big it literally lasts forever! Totally worth the investment if you’re a cream product fan.

Shiseido Whipped Powder Blush in shade Momoko

The perfect blush product to go with the above! I am OBSESSED with this whipped powder blush from Shiseido from the formula to the colour. You all know how much I love peach and the light fluffy texture of this blush makes it soooo easy to blend, so much easier than using a powder with a brush! It’s so natural on the skin and if you just use a little bit with your finger and blend it out, it just looks so gorgeous.

Benefit Gimme Brow in shade Medium

I skip brow pencil for an every day look and just use a gel! Right now I’m using the Benefit Gimme Brow, I love the tiny little wand and how you can literally brush each brow hair individually. If you’re after something thats half the price I have been through about 5 tubes of the L’Oreal brow artist plumper which is just as good! I love the look of fluffy brushed up brows!

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

The ultimate Spring eye palette, I just absolutely love that I can experiment with pink eyeshadow but they never look crazy on the lids! The pink shades in this palette are super neutral and peachy so I am absolutely loving experimenting with them for a bright eyed look! My fave shades are Peaches and cream all over the lid & crease, Georgia through the crease, Candied Peach through the crease and the outer V, a mix of Luscious and Just Peachy on the lid and Nectar in the inner corner and brow bone. I always recommend Too Faced palettes for inexperienced eyeshadow users because they blend like a DREAM, not to mention this palette smells of peaches!

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara

For day time I am ALL about fluttery lashes. I actually use two for different moods, Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye for a more natural lash look as it coats the lashes, separates and lengthens without any smudging or clumping. If I want something that has the same effect but is slightly more intense/volumizing I have been going for the Nars Climax Mascara which for me totally lives up to its hype!

Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Cream in shade Fresh Petal

I never thought I would have said this after I received it in a PR delivery, BUT, I am completely obsessed with the Revlon Lip Cream! I have never come across a lip formula like it from either an affordable or a luxe brand so I am super impressed with its uniqueness. Most lip plumping products I’ve tried have been glosses but because this is more of a cream it just makes your lips look sooooo juicy without being too shiny, not to mention how affordable it is!

Tom Ford Girls Lipstick in Isla

If you’re more of a luxe gal my other current go-to every day lip is the new Tom Ford Girls Lipstick in the shade Isla, these are the mini clutch sized lipsticks so they’re a bit more affordable and come in SO MANY gorgeous shades. Isla is a beautiful peachy pink and gives a glossy opaque finish – I loooove her.

Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Hydrating 3 in 1 Setting Spray

I always finish with a setting spray to lock in those cream products and ensure they aren’t going to slide away! Current fave is the Bobbi Brown setting spray because it’s super hydrating and doesn’t smell like hair spray like the Urban Decay one.. lol. It locks everything in and perfects the product so that it all continues to look fresh, glowwy, but mostly importantly making sure it’s staying put throughout the day!

Which beauty products are you guys loving right now?
