Hello my honeys!

How are you all? I hope you’re all well and are loving the warmth that grows each day we fly through November, on the home stretch to summer. I must say, daylight saving has made me one happy human and I am absolutely loving having dinner at 8 PM in that late afternoon light. Even as I type this, I’m sat by the window gazing up at that (rare) beautiful blue sky, day dreaming of jumping off rocks and diving into that rich, aqua infused water at Cathedral Cove and indulging in the fresh fish and home brew beer at the Pour House in Hahei (my grandparents live there so we go every summer for a couple of weeks!) in nothing but a summery dress, bare feet and salty hair.

I am damn excited for summer, and it’s funny because in my head, we are most definitely not there yet. Not only is it in my head, it’s the 21st of November so technically Summer won’t be here for another ten days, but I guess what I’m trying to say is that in awaiting those ten days, I definitely feel like I am in a slight limbo period, feeling excited and having so much to look forward to! I have a crazy December ahead of me and I have never been so excited to jump straight into it!

Life is ever-changing, we as humans are constantly growing and evolving and only recently have I started to embrace the change in my life, big or small. In light of some recent changes that are sprinkling my life with fairy dust, I thought it would be a good idea to give you all a good, proper life update to get you guys up to speed because I am feeling more excited about life than I ever have before! ALL THE EXCITEMENT!

Not only is it my twenty second birthday next month so I have cake to look forward to, it’s Christmas (glazed ham to look forward to!!!!) AND I will be graduating from University! AHHH!

As of yesterday, I am pretty damn excited to know that I’ll be graduating in December. I got my final grades back and I have officially completed three years, six semesters, 25 papers and 80 assignments. Woah.

It’s surreal and will probably only hit me on graduation day, but please let me know if you’d like me to do a whole post dedicated to university! I would love to answer all of your questions and give you all of my opinions!

Finishing up Uni is a huge lifestyle change in itself, which has now lead to perhaps the biggest life change of them all, I am now a self employed, full time blogger. If you had told me I would be pursuing this two years ago I would tell you that you are CRAZY. To me, it’s crazy, but as we all know, blogging, social media influencing, content creating and YouTube has become an industry of its own. A HUGE, multi million dollar industry. It’s small and very quickly growing in NZ, so I thought.. why the hell not? There is nothing I am more passionate about in life than using my blog to connect with you guys, get creative with my imagery, share my opinions and thoughts on pretty much everything under the sun in order to spark interesting conversations with you gorgeous people and have so much fun doing it.

I have created some incredible relationships with brands that I LOVE who have also jumped on board my blog-ship and have been supporting me with this content creation journey. Hense, it’s now supporting me financially full time and I have never felt more inspired, excited, happier and more motivated in my entire life. I am so dedicated to bringing you guys content that you are actually interested in, are entertained by, informed by and that gets you all inspired and excited. Here’s to 2018 because it’s going to be twenty times better and I feel so blessed to be on this journey with all of you (keep the Insta DM’s coming because I am obsessed with chatting to you all every day!)

As I am swiftly and confidently moving from university to full time blogging it was only natural to start making waves over on my YouTube Channel! I absolutely love making videos, right down to picking the perfect music and creating awesome visual transitions and effects. Being able to sit down and verbalise things to you guys rather than just typing them out is such a freeing feeling, and even though I will always be blogging, I really want to start making videos on a weekly basis. I know a lot of people would prefer to watch a video rather than read a blog post, so it’s perfect for people who may be interested in what I wanna talk about or show you guys, but would rather watch it, than read it! It’s a journey in itself and I’m definitely still learning and trying to figure out what my vibe is on my channel, but I am really hoping to put ALL of the work in, and see what comes out of it!

Before I sign off, I just want to take a moment to thank every single one of you for supporting me this last year. Our Instagram DM conversations give me life and I love that I am able to speak to every single one of you so easily and so often, it is the sole reason why everything I create on this little corner of the internet is so incredibly fun and worthwhile! I love that you guys feel so comfortable speaking to me, and it literally feels like we are besties even though a lot of us haven’t actually met eachother. The fact that you guys trust me and my opinions is the most rewarding, wonderful feeling in the world and I could not be more grateful for it.

So I hope you are all enjoying the countdown to summer, have lots of exciting things planned for the Christmas/NY period and all have a gorgeously smooth transition into the new year. I ADORE you guys and I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings us together here on the blog as well as over on my YouTube channel.

Thank you guys! Have a LOVELY week and I will be back soon with a whole heap of awesome, lead-up-to-Christmas content!

I love you all, Ash xx
